Fact-Checking Policy
Accuracy is the foundation of everything we publish. This policy explains how we verify information before it reaches you.
Last updated: July 25, 2026
Our sourcing standard
We aim to ground factual claims in the most authoritative source available: official company announcements, product specifications and documentation, regulatory filings, peer-reviewed research where relevant, and established reporting. We prefer primary sources over aggregated coverage.
Rumours, leaks, and unconfirmed reports
When we cover rumours, leaks, or pre-release speculation, we label them as such and, where possible, attribute them to their origin. We do not present unconfirmed information as fact, and we distinguish between what has been officially confirmed and what has not.
Quotations and attribution
We do not fabricate quotations or attribute statements to unnamed "experts," "analysts," or "insiders" as a stand-in for evidence. Where we quote a person or organisation, we attribute it to a named, identifiable source.
Numbers, specs, and benchmarks
Prices, specifications, dates, and figures are checked against official or reputable sources at the time of writing. Because these details change, they may become outdated; if you notice an outdated figure, please tell us via our Corrections Policy.
AI-assisted drafting
Some drafts are produced with AI assistance. Because AI tools can generate plausible-sounding but incorrect information, AI-assisted content is subject to the same human review and verification described here. See our AI Disclosure.
