Editorial Policy
These are the standards that govern how we research, write, review, and maintain everything we publish at Newtechzy.
Last updated: July 25, 2026
What we cover
Newtechzy publishes technology news, explainers, how-to guides, and product coverage across artificial intelligence, gadgets, apps & software, gaming, cybersecurity, and consumer technology. Our aim is to make technology clear and useful for everyday readers.
Accuracy and sourcing
We aim to base factual claims on primary or reputable secondary sources — official announcements, manufacturer specifications, company documentation, and established reporting. Where a fact is uncertain, evolving, or disputed, we say so rather than presenting it as settled.
We do not knowingly publish fabricated statistics, quotations, benchmarks, or claims of first-hand product testing that did not occur. When a claim cannot be verified, we either attribute it clearly or leave it out.
How content is produced and reviewed
Some Newtechzy articles are drafted with the assistance of AI tools and are then reviewed and edited by a human before publication. Read more about this in our AI Disclosure. Regardless of how a draft is produced, the same accuracy and sourcing standards apply.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently of advertisers and commercial partners. Advertising and any affiliate relationships never determine which products we cover or the conclusions we reach. See our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure.
Updates and corrections
Technology moves quickly, so we revisit and update articles when information changes. When we make a substantive correction, we follow our Corrections Policy. Our approach to verifying claims is described in our Fact-Checking Policy.
